An Educational Centre for Syrian Children and Youth in Haritan.
Returning to Syria, Returning to Language supports children, young people, and families returning to North-West Syria by creating opportunities for learning, participation, and community recovery through the establishment of an educational and community centre in Haritan.
The project combines Arabic literacy, remedial education, psychosocial support, awareness activities, and community engagement within a safe and inclusive learning environment. Alongside educational activities, it contributes to the rehabilitation of community spaces, helping restore opportunities for children and young people to learn, reconnect with their communities, and rebuild their future after years of displacement.
Coordinated by Amal for Education APS in partnership with Amal İnsani Yardım Derneği (AİYD), the project promotes a community-based approach to early recovery by strengthening local capacities, supporting returnee families, and creating sustainable spaces where education, protection, and social participation reinforce one another.
