North-West Aleppo

Josoor Al Amal works in communities across North-West Aleppo affected by years of conflict, displacement, disrupted education, damaged infrastructure, and changing patterns of return.

Our operational presence is currently centred in Haritan, where the organization is developing a community-based hub for education, protection, psychosocial support, and community activities.

From this local presence, we work with neighbouring communities and local actors to identify needs, strengthen access to services, and develop programmes that can progressively expand according to community priorities and available resources.

Our Operational Area

• Haritan — primary community and operational hub
• Anadan — priority area for community-based programming
• Kafr Hamra — priority area for education and community support
• Neighbouring communities of North-West Aleppo — programming developed according to identified needs and partnerships

Our geographic approach is designed to grow progressively while maintaining strong local relationships and direct community presence.
